EMPOWERMENT | EDUCATION | AWARENESS

Thank you for your interest in the Yusaf Babar Foundation. Our mission is to empower, educate, and raise awareness within the community. For 2024-2025, our focused initiatives in Henry County include:

Athletic Gear Grants: Supporting middle and high school sports programs with essential equipment.
Renovation Grants: Enhancing special education classrooms across all grade levels.
First-Year College Tuition Awards: Providing scholarships to one male and one female student from each Henry County high school.

The Yusaf Babar Foundation has been an active contributor to the Henry County community and surrounding areas, engaging in impactful efforts such as donating jerseys to the Fayette County High School Junior Varsity football team during the 2021-2022 season. We have also supported other prominent organizations, including The Chris Tucker Foundation, Marquis Grissom Baseball Academy Foundation, and Hall of Famer Ed Reed’s foundation, which focuses on rebuilding parks in low-income areas of New Orleans, Louisiana.

In collaboration with rapper Yo Gotti of CMG Records and DBS Sounds in Riverdale, Georgia, we sponsored 100 meet-and-greets for children and their families during the release of his tenth studio album. Each child received an autographed copy of the album and photos, reflecting our mission to help kids simply enjoy being kids—especially during challenging times when many are forced to grow up too quickly.

Additionally, we partnered with The Mike Cameron Baseball Academy to sponsor batting lessons for some of our past recipients. Our Foundation is committed to supporting leadership initiatives, including donations to the Henry County Sheriff’s Office under the leadership of Sheriff Reginald Scandrett.

Beyond financial contributions, we’ve built meaningful relationships with the children and their families, providing assistance such as securing legal representation and covering associated fees. Our ongoing mission is to uplift and empower the community through education, opportunity, and support.

Yusaf Babar, a proud product of the Henry County school system, has always prioritized operating his businesses within the local community. While his previous contributions have focused on Henry County, with your support, we aim to expand our impact to surrounding communities. Our goal is to host four high-profile celebrity events, including golf, bowling, and basketball tournaments, as well as a casino night.

Through these efforts and our active social media presence, we can reach a network of over 7,500 people—a number that will continue to grow with your generous assistance.
